The Museum Association of New York is seeking a Marketing and Social Media Coordinator to create compelling and sharable stories about our members and to play a vital role in developing and managing MANY’s social media channels, marketing strategy, and digital communications. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable interest in New York state’s arts, culture, and history and will bring a strong work ethic, energy, enthusiasm, and creativity to the organization.
Responsibilities include website, e-newsletter, email campaigns, and social media. Requirements: BA, BFA, BS or equivalent combined military transfer credit; At least one year of internship or work experience in a communications role; Superior writing, editing, communication, and presentation skills.; Excellent computer skills including Adobe Creative Suite; Strong interpersonal, project management, and organizational skills; Proficiency with social media platforms and web publishing tools; Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines; some travel required.

MANY was granted its New York State charter in January of 1962.
